The Vermentino "Boboli" by Giacomelli tells us the real potential of an extraordinary piece of land, the last available to the Liguria before slipping in Tuscany; we are in the territory of La Spezia, in the hills of Castelnuovo Magra, on hills that are authentic and very natural panoramic terrace towards the Tyrrhenian Sea and to the Cinque Terre. It does not end here; the Vermentino "Boboli" comes to life from a vineyard full of history, implanted for the first time back in 1913. 1.5 acres total stony and clay, planted with Guyot Vermentino and Malvasia di Candia. A vineyard that has made the fortune of the winery Giacomelli, founded in 1993 through the efforts of Roberto Petacchi, who decided to turn his passion for the land of his grandfather Pietro Giacomelli actually, in a real way of life. And it is the respect for nature and traditions to guide the production philosophy of Roberto that aims to have a balance between the vine plants and earth, between the wine and the man. A fascinating philosophy, which comes to life one of the best Vermentino; the "Boboli" is distinguished from the first color, bright yellow and bright, and the rich bouquet of lemon verbena, grapefruit and mint leaves then. Note that coexist and blend together creating a mineral finish, in a palate of large volume, in a warm and enveloping Vermentino...
