The Negroamaro Riserva "Teresa Manara" is a full-bodied and complex Salento red wine, aged in barriques for 12 months. Intense aromas of black cherry, wild berries, tobacco and cocoa accompany a soft, round, concentrated and persistent taste
Negroamaro Riserva "Teresa Manara" by Cantele is an excellent wine, dense, elegant and persistent. A wine that is a representation of a unique production philosophy, which over the years has been able to carve out a space of enormous success and prestige in the wine country. The company's history began in the 50s, when Giovanni Battista Cantele and his wife Teresa Manara, start a small production winery. Today is the third generation to lead this historic winery in Guagnano, stronger than fifty hectares of vineyards owned and a large group of regular suppliers. This and the precautions taken in the cellar have allowed Cantele to be appreciated outside its region. Negroamaro "Teresa Manara", dedicated to the founder of the winery, it’s a wine with excellent structure, a perfect blend of modernity and tradition. "Each bottle of wine has its own story. The laws in its color, the taste, the smell that emanates when you open it, when you pour the content into the glass. It is a story linked to names, places, thousands of stories that those names and those places are tied. "A story that Negroamaro "Teresa Manara" is able to tell perfectly, evoking every sip a piece of Apulia terroir and traditions of Cantele.
