Glen Ord distillery's Single Malt 13 Years Old The Black Cat Series whisky is a Scotch whisky selected by Whisky Facile that is characterized by its delicate peat aromas. The Glen Ord production entity, located in the Northern Highlands and belonging to the major Diageo Group, constitutes one of two Scottish distilleries that carries out the entire malting process independently in-house. In fact, the distillery has a large malt house that is also tapped to supply other distilleries in the Diageo group. This limited edition label was produced in just 120 pieces.

Whisky Facile The Black Cat Series Single Malt Glen Ord 13 Years Old is processed from pure barley malt. After the barley wort is prepared, it is inoculated with yeast for a few days of alcoholic fermentation that results in the so-called "wash." The brew then goes through the distillation process and, subsequently, the precious liquid obtained is placed to age for as much as 13 years in oak barrels previously used for Bourbon maturation. What is bottled is the result of a selected Single Cask. In addition, no flavoring or coloring agents are added throughout the process, and the distillate is not cold filtered.

Glen Ord and Easy Whisky's Single Malt Whisky The Black Cat Series 13 Years Old has a bright golden yellow color. Vivid hints of pear, plum and lemon emerge on the nose, combined with herbaceous hints of hay and an intense mineral streak. The sip, soft and taut at the same time, reveals sensations of grapefruit, licorice and hazelnut that are accompanied by slight notes of peat on the finish.
