Villa Antinori is a red wine born of the many years of experience of the winery's team in creating blends where balance and harmony are the key to a satisfying and impactful drink, without smearing. A label where the great Sangiovese, a grape that has been particularly valued by Antinori over the decades, is accompanied by a triptych of international grape varieties, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Syrah, carefully selected and dosed in the final blend to ensure that softness and roundness are the fruit of the relationship between the terroir and the work of man.
This Villa Antinori Rosso is the result of a skilful blending where the native red grape variety most representative of the entire Tuscan terroir, Sangiovese, is combined with three of the most widely grown international grapes in the world: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Syrah. After harvesting, which is rigorously manual and aimed at guaranteeing only the highest quality, the grapes are softly pressed, then fermented and macerated in stainless steel containers, followed by maturation in barrique for 12 months and bottling.
Villa Antinori Rosso is an IGT Toscana that takes on an intense ruby red colour in the glass. Ripe fruit, sweet spices and a slight hint of dried flowers: these are the scents that make up the olfactory skeleton that envelops the nose from the very first moments. On the palate it is rounded, harmonious, and characterised by a forthright, decidedly soft and enveloping sip; it ends with a finish characterised by excellent persistence. A bottle with which Antinori makes one savour flavours and sensations that tell of the perfect synergy between earth and man, and which is truly enjoyable with a tasty grilled meat.
