The Tequila Don Julio Anejo boasts sixty years of tradition and a processing still largely done by hand. The production is personally dall'ottantenne Tequilero Mastro Don Julio who chooses only the best blue agave plants, with more than 20% sugar and grown for at least 10-12 years in the hills of Jalisco Mexican. Don Julio Anejo is produced with double distillation and left to age in oak barrels for 18 months. Appears with a light amber color and is expressed through the nose aromas of herbs in a combination of fresh citrus such as lime, grapefruit and mandarin with a slight touch of caramel. The taste is unmistakable and is particularly soft for a tequila, for this is a product outside of the standard and appreciated worldwide. Manages to embody a perfect combination of fruity notes of apple, pear and lemon. It has an intense flavor and characteristic perfect balance between agave, wood and a hint of vanilla and cinnamon. Robust and complex expressions of cooked agave and honey, is balanced by recalls smoked barely perceptible and notes of dark chocolate that come out at a later time. A tequila intense persistence lightweight and durable.
