Aldo Rainoldi is one of the undisputed protagonist of Valtellina wine scene. His cellar was renovated a few years ago in favor of a meticulous care of the entire production process, from the vineyards and dynamic relationship with the trusted transferors. The main representative of the company Rainoldi is definitely the "Sfursat" Sforzato, a wine obtained by drying the best Nebbiolo grapes from the best exposed vineyards and fruit of the grape harvest more fortunate. The grapes, spread out on racks or in boxes, are left to dry in a natural way for a few months; this process and the meticulous attention used in these phases from the winery allows the cellar to produce a great wine, capable to combined togheter structure, elegance and longevity. A wine made even in extreme conditions, as the Valtellina is certainly a heroic viticulture, where the Nebbiolo vineyards are literally clinging to the rugged, but perfectly exposed, slopes of the Rhaetian side. These conditions ensure the success of an exceptional wine, deep and intense, with a rare elegance.
