Sauvignon "Ronco delle Mele" by Venica is an huge and round wine, perfect scents from plants, of the insistent and fine minerality. This wine is the determination of the winery to produce a very varietal wine, with impeccable precision and stylistic rigor. In February 1930 Daniel Venica buys a farm and vineyards surrounding the town of Dolegna. Today, at eighty years later, the family Venica, represented by his grandchildren Gianni, Giorgio and Giampaolo, is still there to follow with the same passion and care of the vineyards on one of the most important wine-growing zones of Collio. The vines, in fact, there are over a few kilometers from the cellar, grouped in 5 major blocks. Extreme rigor was used in the selection of sites and varieties planted: the locks are more closed and warm were directed to red grapes, while whites are growing on soils cooler and with higher temperature range. Precisely for this climate characteristics Sauvignon "Ronco delle Mele" is a highly successful wine, elegant and refined, fresh and fruity, a wine that is the perfect representation of the high quality already achieved by Venica, today a reference point of absolute quality in Collio wine scene.
