Ronco del Cerò is the intense interpretation of Sauvignon from the winery Venica & Venica . This is the surname of the two brothers, Gianni and Giorgio, founders of the farm that they run along with their families. Giorgio, the winemaker, takes care of the work in the cellar while Gianni follows the agronomic work of the cellar. Together, they create some of the most popular wines of Friuli Venezia Giulia. Their business has a family history, can last through four generations, which began when the grandfather Daniele bought the central part of the estate, during February of 1930. Since then, the synergistic relationship between the family and the Collio terroir of Venica & Venica has never stopped; with passion and dedication today Giorgio and Gianni make the most incredible wines according to different microclimates on their land. A complexity that gives richness to the wines of the cellar, that reach high level of quality, as in the case of the Sauvignon Ronco del Cerò. The climate is remarkably suited to white varieties, is mildly influenced by the currents Mediterranean as well as from the fresh air from the Alps. These are the two sides of the beautiful Sauvignon Ronco del Cero: pleasantly soft, savory and dry at the same time, crossed by a delicate bitter note that surprises giving dynamism to drink. The Sauvignon Ronco del Cerò is ideal for those wishing to discover this precious corner of Friuli, accompanying him through the Venica vineyards, where fifty microclimates create wines with a rich personality.
