Full-bodied red wine, smooth and fragrant, with pleasant notes of berries, elegant, balanced and aged for 16 months in barriques.
The Rosso Piceno Superiore "Podere 72" by Poderi San Lazzaro is a red wine with good structure and elegance that shows a balance very much appreciated on the nose as the palate. Borns from the passion by Paolo Capriotti and Elisetta Carosi who in 2003 founded this beautiful reality in Offida, in an optimal position for the maturation of the grapes: in the middle of the hill, between 250 and 300 meters above sea level, where the Apennines until fall to dive in the Adriatic, in the heart of the Rosso Piceno. Here the organic philosophy is a reality for many years and the aim is to create wines character absolutely distinguishable, with a clear personality and character animated. The Rosso Piceno Superiore "Podere 72" is a blend of Montepulciano and Sangiovese grapes, harvested in the first half of October and left to ferment for 6-8 days before being transferred to barrels where he softens through malolactic and where it rests, evolving, for 16 months before stabilizing for 6 months in the bottle. Thus was born the "Podere 72", a Rosso Piceno Superiore which offers with its intense ruby red color, which gives us clear fragrances and purposes of berries and other small red berries. Elegant, soft, balanced, nice facility here is the "Podere 72", a Rosso Piceno Superiore certainly value...
