Still red wine, full bodied and intense, with delicate fruity, herbaceous and mineral notes, lingering finish, aged in barriques for 30 months
Poggio Mandorlo is a wine of great character and balance, thanks to the elegance of Cabernet Franc that goes well with the sensuality and complexity of Merlot. The wine, as well as the farm Poggio Mandorlo, are a novelty in Italian wine. The project company, in fact, born in 2001, thanks to the passion and friendship of a group of young men, united by the desire to try to experience the potential of a territory where they have always lived and loved. Under the guidance of oenologist Roberto Cipresso began making wine grapes the only property in search of perfection. All the wines produced from the farm are the result of an area suited to excellence, located in the town of Seggiano, at the foot of Mount Amiata, in a corner of Tuscany by the breathtaking beauty of the landscape, a territory which, besides being perfect the cultivation of vines, gives the wine elegance and finesse, but at the same time structure and intensity.
