Pinot Gris "Le Marsure" is a white wine of medium body and good freshness that takes its name from the vineyard of the same name that rests on stony and flat soils. Aged only in steel, it expresses a pleasantly aromatic and clean profile, with sapid and mineral hints, developed on notes of tropical fruit, citrus, apple and white flowers
The Pinot Grigio "Le Marsure" is part of the Teresa Raiz winery's line of wines, crafted with the intention of highlighting the strong historical connection between the grape variety and the Friulian terroir. A synthesis of excellence that creates a quality wine. The dedicated soils and ideal climate allow the Pinot Grigio to express itself with particular richness and harmony, giving life to a white wine of great charm. Ripe fruit, balanced taste, and aromatic persistence captivate from the first sip, making it an excellent table companion. Refined and intense, it pairs very well with vegetable soups, seafood first courses, or delicate white meats.
"Le Marsure," Pinot Grigio from Teresa Raiz, is produced with grapes from vineyards located in an area characterized by relatively flat terrain with stony and gravelly soils of ancient alluvial origin. These poor and highly draining soils have proven perfect for Pinot Grigio, which, thanks to the mild and temperate climate, reaches maturity with a very rich aromatic profile. Harvesting is done manually, usually towards the end of August. The best clusters, selected in the vineyard, undergo soft pressing. After static settling, the must is sent for fermentation in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of about 18 °C. The wine matures in stainless steel tanks on the lees for three months before bottling.
The Pinot Grigio "Le Marsure" from Teresa Raiz is a beautiful rendition of this French grape variety, particularly beloved beyond the ocean. It is a white wine with character and personality, perfect for those who prefer a soft, round sip. In the glass, it presents itself with a rather intense yellow colour with bright coppery reflections. On the nose, it is characterized by a broad and rich bouquet, offering aromas of ripe white fruit, peach, Williams pear, banana, soft tropical fruit, hints of pink grapefruit, and delicately spicy undertones. It has a good body on the palate, with juicy and expressive fruit and a very harmonious and balanced sip, leading to a persistent finish.
