Negroamaro by Notte Rossa is a fresh, fruity and generous red wine from the Salento area, vinified and aged in steel. With a velvety, rich and juicy sip, it expresses fragrant aromas of Mediterranean scrub, small dark berry fruits and light marine memories
Notte Rossa's Negroamaro is a fresh and fragrant wine made from the pure indigenous Apulian grape variety of the same name. Cultivated in Apulia for centuries, the Negroamaro grape is very malleable and allows the production of delicate rosés, intense and concentrated wines or young and pleasantly drinkable reds, as in the case of this interesting label. Vinification only in stainless steel allows the rich varietal heritage of the variety to be preserved, resulting in a red wine characterised by fresh fruity notes and hints of aromatic herbs from the Mediterranean maquis. It is a perfect wine to enjoy with the tasty first courses of the Apulian tradition.
Notte Rossa's Negroamaro red is a wine that originates in the beautiful Salento countryside, in the Sava area in the province of Taranto. It is a red wine with a typically territorial character, bringing the best characteristics of the land of Puglia to the glass. Son of hot, dry summers, with vineyards often buffeted by strong winds, it is a Mediterranean wine, savoury and marine. The vineyards are cultivated in the first hinterland, on soils of a predominantly sandy matrix, with the presence of limestone and clay. The grapes reach full ripeness in the second part of September, with a particularly intense and rich aromatic profile. This label is highly appreciated by those who want to discover and appreciate the authentic face of this ancient and historic Apulian grape variety.
The Negroamaro wine of the Apulian winery Notte Rossa is one of the most popular and appreciated labels of this winery, based in the Sava countryside. The grapes are brought to the winery where they are fermented in stainless steel tanks with selected yeasts, with maceration on the skins for about 10 days. Before final bottling, it rests in steel tanks for several months. It presents a purple colour with violet reflections. The bouquet expresses aromas of aromas of dark berries, currants, blackberries, cherries, hints of aromatic herbs and slight spicy nuances. The palate is medium-bodied, with soft, fruity aromas, delicate tannin and a pleasant, slightly savoury finish.
