The Montefalco Rosso Perticaia is the expression of the ability to Guido Guardigli, a winemaker that in few years become a symbol of quality and competence in Umbrian enology. The name of the winery comes from the word of Umbrian dialect which was used to call the plow; the instrument symbol of the revolution of man took place at the time of a switch from nomadic to sedentary agriculture. It is a symbol of a change of human beings way of thinking. It creates a unique and indissoluble link between the land and those who work it, dedicating their life to it. This is precisely what Guido Guardigli has dedicated his enterprise, where traditional teachings are respected, addressing its future to the constant quest for quality. The logo displayed on the label, a double cross P , born from the union of the initials of the words "Project Perticaia", or , as they like to think in the cellar, the two P may belong to the Italian initial words for "Think Positive". It is with this philosophy that Guido Guagliardi creates the Montefalco Rosso Perticaia, a beautiful red wine born from a blend with mostly Sangiovese and Sagrantino in equal parts and small part of Colorino grape, creating a unique olfactory profile rich and varied, which plays on the equilibrium of spicy and sweets. In tasting is able to impress with a pleasant body, perfectly balanced, expressing what the grapes had gained growing on the southern side of the appellation Montefalco,able to dominate the palate. A ruby nectar that gives a fresh moment of harmony.
