The Lagrein "Turmhof" by Tiefenbrunner born vineyards Niclara and Cortaccia, between 230 and 350 meters above sea level. Here, the vines are exposed to south-east and enjoy a mild climate due to the protection of the nearby mountain ranges. The cellar Tiefenbrunner is convinced that the wine is made in the vineyard, respecting the natural need of the screws since the pruning, then to adopt practices and the natural systems that provide the vines with the best conditions for development and growth. Although certification is not yet present, Tiefenbrunner is implementing the organic vineyards in some of its properties. The Lagrein "Turmhof" by Tiefenbrunner born on moraine soils and gravel, plants that get to have even more than 50 years of age and aged for 8 months in oak barrels. Just poured in the glass, its color makes us understand that we are immediately faced with a Lagrein: deep garnet red with violet reflections; it has a delicate and refined hints of violet and cherry that add value and leave in the mouth a nice fruity notes; tannins are present in the final, but they are balanced, silky and blend well with the freshness and persistence of this great red wine.
