Fosarin comes from the typical blend of Collio with Friulano, Malvasia and Pinot Bianco, aged for 5 months in barrique. This Collio is a white wine of medium intensity and structure that gives a bouquet of anise, yellow peach and yogurt and that in the mouth impresses with flavor and persistence
The rigor that characterizes the style of business can be found in every bottle of wine of Ronco dei Tassi, but the accuracy that has the Collio Bianco "Fosarin" is unique. A very convincing wine, with Pinot Bianco dominant to give finesse and a discreet touch of wood, which gives it depth. This beautiful wine is the result of the will of Fabio Coser, at the led of Ronco dei Tassi since 1989. Son of an artist, who graduated in Conegliano in 1975, he served for many years his knowledge to companies of Friuli first floor, until he decided to go freelance. Over the years the vineyards of Ronco dei Tassi are grown in the territory extending from the Monte Quarin to Monte Fosarin. Being gathered in a park, it's many small parcels bordered by forests on poor soils, rich in minerals, with a careful viticulture and low impact. One of the oldest vineyards owned by Ronco dei Tassi is what gives life and name to this wine, Fosarin: here there are plants that were as high as sixty years of age. The Collio Bianco "Fosarin" can encompass all the best features of the land on which it was born: a wine perfectly balanced, perfectly able to balance between elegance and power, with a nice fruity and savory finish. A wine made with the firm conviction of the cellar to cultivate the vineyard in a careful and respectful and, subsequently, to implement in the cellar of wine-making process that will exalt the characteristics that the terroir gives them.
