CHAMPAGNE ROSÉ BRUT MAGNUM BOLLINGER DESCRIPTION

Bollinger's Champagne Rosé Brut is fineness, pleasantness and intensity, all offered in that recognizable Bollinger style. It is a style that does not disappoint and reconfirms every time the excellence that has made Maison famous worldwide. This is a historic Maison, founded in 1829 in Ay, a commune located in the Vallée de la Marne and known for knowing how to give Pinot Noir grapes of a particular quality. One of the essential requirements that make a Rosé a Champagne capable of stunning elegance is to use in the assemblage a red wine of class and complexity. True to territorial expression and enhancement, the Maison has been able to leverage the quality of the Pinot Noir grapes that are born and grow in that area of Champagne. The result is only to be discovered by tasting these richly flavoured bubbles.

Bollinger's Brut Rosé Champagne is made from a blend as follows: 62% Pinot Noir, 24% Chardonnay and 14% Pinot Meunier. Rosé vinification is carried out according to the practice of assemblage, that is, the addition of a proportion of red wine, which, in this case, is about 5-6%, most of which comes from Grand Cru and Premier Cru. The refermentation in the bottle takes place as traditionally in the Champenoise Method and far exceeds the minimum duration imposed by the specification.

Bollinger Champagne Brut Rosé is antique pink in colour, with a fine perlage that makes it very bright. Its bouquet is very pleasant and is articulated in a fruity bouquet of strawberry, currant and blueberry, also quite ripe, embroidered on a background of pastry and almond. The sip is creamy but fresh and dry; the aromas correspond perfectly to the scents of must and ripe red fruit perceived on the nose but are set in a nice dry palate. It is Maison Bollinger itself that recommends this Brut Rosé Magnum for every occasion: from aperitif to dessert, from a picnic on the lawn to an afternoon tea break.
