CHAMPAGNE BRUT NATURE 'BAM' TARLANT DESCRIPTION

Brut Nature 'BAM' is a great Champagne made from a blend of unusual grape varieties that are rarely found blended in a French bubbly. These are Pinot Blanc grapes, the best known, alongside Arbanne and Petit Meslier. The name of the label, 'BAM', is an acronym derived from the initials of the three grape varieties, cultivated in the Les Sables vineyard with care and dedication by the Tarlant Maison. This is an original, unconventional label, with an expressive and satisfying sip of great elegance and personality, capable of surprising even the greatest connoisseur of French bubbles.

The 'BAM' is a Brut Nature Champagne that comes from an unusual blend of three ancient and almost forgotten grape varieties, namely Pinot Blanc, Arbanne and Petit Meslier. The vines of these three varieties grow within the Les Sables parcel and are of advanced age, so much so that they are all still free-range. The soil is predominantly composed of sand, limestone and silica, giving it an unmistakable mineral note. The grapes are selected in the vineyard and brought to the cellar, where they are crushed and the must ferments in oak barrels. Bottle re-fermentation follows the production principles of the Champenoise Method, where the wine remains on the lees for a full 60 months before being disgorged. No dosage liqueur is added at this stage.

This Champagne Brut Nature "BAM" announces itself on visual inspection with a straw-yellow colour, very intense and brilliant. The perlage is fine-grained and long-lasting. The aromas that develop on the nose move on a texture of concentrated notes, from citrus to flowers, passing through more spicy nuances. On the palate, it has an excellent structure, with a dry sip characterised by an incisive taste, in balance with the aromas already perceived on the nose. A label with which the Tarlant Maison reaches important qualitative heights, as demonstrated by the excellent scores awarded to it by the main foreign wine guides. A jewel out of the ordinary!
