Brunello di Montalcino Magnum La Magia 2018
La Magia

Brunello di Montalcino Magnum La Magia 2018

The Brunello di Montalcino by La Magia is a full-bodied red wine, cared for and energetic, the result of a long maturation in tonneaux for about 36 months. It diffuses aromas of flowers, sensations of black cherry, confit cherry, citrus peel and a pleasing spicy-toasted nuance. The palate exhibits a great structure, with a soft creaminess, a refined elegance and a very fine tannins. A great Magnum!

BRUNELLO DI MONTALCINO MAGNUM LA MAGIA 2018 DESCRIPTION

Brunello di Montalcino La Màgia is a fine expression of pure Sangiovese, which expresses all the elegance and finesse of a great terroir. In this famous Tuscan wine-growing area, thanks to the altitude, the suitable soils and the mild climate with good temperature variations, great red wines are produced, appreciated by wine lovers and the best connoisseurs worldwide. The long ageing in wood allows the wine to develop all its refined aromatic facets, enriched by notes of tertiary development.

The red Brunello di Montalcino of Fattoria La Màgia is an organic wine produced on an estate managed in perfect harmony with the surrounding nature. The 15 hectares of vineyards belong to the Schwarz family, which has always loved the beauty of these places. The Sangiovese grapes come from vines more than forty years old, grown on the southeastern slopes of Montalcino, in the Sant'Antimo area, at an altitude of about 400 to 450 meters above sea level. The sunny and always well-ventilated position allows the ripening of grapes of excellent quality, healthy and rich in aromas. The vines are grown on stony, sandy soils resting on deeper clay layers. At the end of the harvest, the best grapes are selected and brought to fermentation, partly in stainless steel tanks and partly in conical vats, with a 40-day maceration period on the skins. The wine is aged for 36 months in 500-litre vats, 1/3 of which are new and the remaining 2/3 used. The ageing is completed within a few months in the bottle.

Brunello di Montalcino La Màgia presents a beautiful bright ruby colour in the glass with bright garnet reflections. The nose reveals a very elegant bouquet with floral scents of dried rose petals and violets. The palate is fragrant, with aromas of ripe cherries, red currants, delicate spicy notes and hints of fine woods. The palate has a good structure with dense tannins but is well integrated with the body of the wine. The sip is deep and rich, with fruity aromas that evolve into refined tertiary sensations. The finish is long and very persistent. A magnum version, perfect for celebrations.
