Tedeschi's Amarone 'Marne 180' is a full-bodied, intense red wine, born from a 36-month barrel maturation. Toasty notes of vanilla, cherries, chocolate and mint inegrate into an enveloping and sustained taste experience that is soft and elegant
Tedeschi's Amarone della Valpolicella 'Marne 180' is a red wine of great tradition and passion: that of the winery's owner family, committed for four centuries to the pursuit of quality and perfection. A wine that reflects style, structure and balance.
The Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella and Rossignola grapes have an average age of 20 years and are rooted in the hills of Valpolicella, on soil characterized by red clay and limestone, with the presence of skeleton. Before vinification, after a harvest with rigorous selection of perfectly ripe bunches, the traditional process of grape drying takes place, lasting about 4 months. Period of silence in which the berries become increasingly concentrated, with the progressive reduction of water content and further conveying the sugars. Even the wine label uses the grape berry during the drying process as a symbol, symbolizing its almost ritualistic importance. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled steel tanks and continues, in contact with the skins, for 40 to 60 days. The wine's aging period includes a 36-month stay in Slavonian oak barrels.
Amarone Marne 180 is characterized by an intense ruby red color. The nose expresses the freshness of its grapes, with hints of berries, jammy cherries, light notes of vanilla, chocolate and nuances of mint. On the palate the sip is enveloping, soft, warm wine with pleasant tannins. A special wine strongly linked to its terroir.
