ACQUAVITE DI UVA MOSCATO DISTINA - 50CL DESCRIPTION

Acquavite di Uva Moscato from the Emilian production company Distina is a fresh and fragrant distillate obtained by the direct distillation of the must and marc of Moscato Bianco. In fact, unlike grappa, which is obtained by processing the marc alone, grape brandy is obtained by distilling the fermenting must with its marc. The result is usually a fresh, fruity product with a lighter structure. The Distina estate is located in the Colli Piacentini, in Castell'Arquato, to be precise, on the border with the province of Parma, an area where the Campaner family operates with respect for nature and its cycles, firmly following organic farming practices. Moreover, the winery and distillery almost exclusively breed the typical vines of the area, including Moscato Bianco.

Distina Acquavite di Uva Moscato is produced from the must and marc of white Muscat grapes grown under certified organic conditions. The partially fermented mass undergoes a double distillation in bain-marie stills according to the discontinuous method. At the end of the slow distillation process, the liquid is left to rest for between 6 and 12 months in the stainless steel tank 'at full strength', i.e. without any dilution with water.

To the eye, Distina Acquavite di Uva Moscato has a crystal-clear white appearance. The olfactory panorama evokes vivid scents of pear, peach, and jasmine flowers macerated in alcohol and sage, accompanied by pleasant ethereal hints. The taste development shows an enveloping warmth well balanced by a marked freshness in a fragrant, flowing and very persistent combination of fruity sensations.
