The "Cuvée Royale" by Tenuta Montenisa - Antinori is a Franciacorta Brut with a creamy and elegant timbre, aged in bottle on the lees for at least 36 months. Notes of white flowers, aromatic herbs, medlar, citrus fruits, pastry elements and nuances of toasted hazelnut make up a refined and delicate bouquet. The taste is fine, harmonious and chiselled, with a thin bubble and a marked mineral freshness
Tenuta Montenisa di Marchesi Antinori's Franciacorta Brut "Cuvée Royale" is an elegant and complex Metodo Classico that represents the intense and mature face of the style of the Cazzago San Martino winery. It is a Chardonnay-based cuvée, complemented by the other two classic Franciacorta grapes: Pinot Noir and Pinot Blanc. It is a label of good intensity and taste persistence, also thanks to a minimum period of 36 months on the lees. The youthful floral and fruity notes are complemented by tertiary aromas that enrich the bouquet with refined nuances, always well supported by a clear vein of mineral freshness.
The "Cuvée Royale" is a Franciacorta Brut produced in the Tenuta Montenisa, purchased by the Antinori family at the end of the 1990's. Antinori represents a piece of Italian wine history and in addition to the estates in Tuscany, it also wanted to broaden its horizons with a property in Franciacorta. The estate has very ancient origins and can count on some sixty hectares of vineyards in prestigious areas of Franciacorta and the historic ageing cellars, which preserve the memory of this famous Franciacorta sparkling wine brand. The style of the wines has remained faithful to a very classic concept of finesse, elegance and freshness. A few plots of Pinot Blanc have been retained on the plots, a grape that gives the wines a particular harmony of expression and a pleasant creaminess on the palate..
Tenuta Montenisa degli Antinori's Brut "Cuvée Royale" Franciacorta is a Franciacorta that well represents the classic face of the territory and its vocation for producing high quality sparkling wines. The blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Blanc creates a perfect balance between structure and finesse. The grapes are vinified and fermented separately in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. After a rest period of several months, the vins clairs are blended and the final cuvée is created. Secondary fermentation takes place in the bottle according to the Classical Method, with a 36-month stop on the lattes. In the glass, it is pale yellow in colour with light golden reflections. The perlage is fine and very persistent. The nose opens on floral and citrus aromas, giving way to notes of ripe fruit, bread crust, almond, dried fruit and pastries. The sip is intense and long, with delicate, multifaceted aromas, leading towards a pleasantly refreshing finish.
