Veneto's Scaia Bianco wine is a signature product of Tenuta Sant'Antonio that impresses with the freshness it gives from the very first sips. It is a very balanced blend of Garganega, Chardonnay and Trebbiano di Soave, in which each varietal manages to give something of its own to the final result. This mastery in blending confirms, once again, the value of a winery like Tenuta Sant'Antonio, a modern production reality and a reference point for the whole Veronese area. A label that is recommended to uncork now.
This Scaia Bianco is made by the Sant'Antonio winery from a blend of white grape varieties, where we find Garganega, Trebbiano di Soave and Chardonnay. The vines of these three varieties grow with the pergola and guyot system, sinking their roots into a soil characterized by a mainly gravelly subsoil, located at an elevation of about 100 meters above sea level. After harvesting, carried out scrupulously and carefully, the grapes cold macerate for just over a week, carrying out alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel containers at a controlled temperature of 14-15 degrees. Then comes the aging phase, in which the wine rests for a few months, again in stainless steel, until it is ready to be bottled.
Scaia Bianco Tenute Sant'Antonio manifests itself to the eye with a typical straw color, crossed by light reflections tending to greenish in the rim. The olfactory spectrum revolves around floral sensations, enhanced by touches of citrus and nuances of exotic fruit. On the palate, it is light-bodied, drinkable, subtle, with a fresh sip, distinguished by a savory finish. A signature Sant'Antonio label ideal for sipping with a summer fish dinner.
