Val d'Oca is an important Valdobbiadene wine cooperative: an extraordinary entity that has no equal in the region, impressive in numbers and quality. Founded in 1952 to meet the needs of the wine growers facing difficult times, the Cantina Produttori Valdobbiadene Val d'Oca now unites almost 600 members, for a total of more than 800 hectares of vineyards, and boasts a large production of Prosecco wines of great prestige and quality.
Val d'Oca's philosophy is based on three essential principles: territory, cooperation and solidarity. The objective is to enhance the value of its members' grapes by producing valuable Prosecco at competitive prices. In order to guarantee the high quality of its production, the cooperative complies with important international certifications and a protocol that includes constant agronomic consultancy, training courses for members, the use of the most modern and efficient technologies, satellite mapping of the land and the identification and selection of the most suitable vineyards, identified as Cru. Recent projects in progress involve the organic conversion of plots of land and the distribution of the wines in more than 33 countries around the world.
Val d'Oca Prosecco is the essence of the many small producers scattered throughout the Valdobbiadene area: a rich and varied heritage that enables the production of a variety of different wines with great personality and character. These include the Cartizze, the Uvaggio Storico and the Prosecco Superiori from individual plots with extraordinary potential. These Proseccos represent not only the best characteristics of the Valdobbiadene terroir, but also an example of unity, cooperation and solidarity.
