Sailor Jerry's Spiced Rum is a rum flavoured with spices such as cinnamon, cloves, vanilla, ginger and lime and aged in Caribbean oak barrels. Its profile is rich, intense and slightly sweet. To be drunk neat or in exotic and spicy cocktails of great charm
The Sailor Jerry Spiced Rum is a rare treasure that embodies one of the traditional rum production of the ancient sailors' world. As many adventure stories have handed down, the sailors of the past centuries were used to mixing their daily rations of rum with spices in order to improve its harsh taste. The Sailor Jerry Spiced Rum continues the tradition of mixing rum with natural spices. As indicated in the name, the spirit has been dedicated to the famous American tattoo artist Norman Keith Collins, aka Sailor Jerry, for his original and impeccable depicting galleons. The precision of choosing the parts of rum's soul is the one that Sailor Jerry was used to carried out his art. In fact, the recipe is the result of the annual travelling and researching of William Grant & Sons team in the Caribbean, exploring distilleries in search of the finest rum. In Virgin Island, in the United States, the master distillers - only six in 125 years - combine the Caribbean rums with a mix of spices and flavors, including vanilla and a pinch of cinnamon. A unmissable rum, a surfers' cult in California that would certainly be welcomed on board of the 18th century ships with sailors' songs.
