Nals Margreid winery is located in Nals, a small village located at the foot of the hill Sirmian, surrounded by vineyards along the "Wine Road" in Trentino Alto Adige. The winery was founded in 1985 by the merger of two Cellars: Wineries Nalles and Magrè-Niclara, which already produced wines. The union is strength: this is the principle that inspired the marriage between the two historical cellars. Today, the "consortium" has 140 growers on 150 hectares of vineyards that produce a wide variety of grapes, with a careful manual labor and in total respect of nature. This allows the winemaker Harald Schraffel to create a large number of assemblies using not only different grape varieties, but also substantial differences which are found in the same blend, caused by climatic conditions, exposures, nature of the land and from the heights of vineyards. The range of wines is extensive and some stand out among all the cru: Pinot Blanc "Sirmian" is one of them, the grapes come from vineyards located on the southern slope of the hill. A great wine.
