The aim of Luigi Maffini has always been to create great wines, with deep connection of their homeland. Since 1996, the year of the foundation of his cellar, with constant passion and dedication, Luigi follows the care of his vineyards from which produces wines that have a modern conception, but that is not at all betray their deep and vital bond with the earth. Flanked by his friend Luigi Moio, his range of Aglianico and Fiano has managed to find ways to harness the innate generosity of this area of Campania, with labels well-balanced and harmonious. Are not very many years that he has been engaged in the work of winemaker, but the successes from the outset with his label led him to restructure the company founded by his father in the 70s. Today, the vineyard area consists of 4 acres of property, almost entirely replanted, using historical vines such as Aglianico and Fiano, and 2 hectares planted with Sangiovese and Piedirosso. Just the territoriality of the wines of Luigi Maffini is a must if you want to know and fully understand the soul and the flavors of the Cilento terroir: wines to amaze and fascinate.
