Benito Favaro winery was born in 1992. This small winery were always be family owned and now Camillo Favaro is at the helm of this, helped in the vineyards by Benito, by his sister Elena and her husband, Claudio. Camillo's father, Benito, was the man who had the insight to start this wonderful adventure 15 years ago, specializes in the care of the vineyards has always been the true heart of our brand. In Piverone, on the Serra, the largest moraine hills of Europe, the scenery is breathtaking: the nearby lake Viverone ago by thermal regulator and the wild forests make to counter the presence of humans and many cultivated terraces. Here the company owns and cultivates with passion and love its vineyards; for Erbaluce, symbol of this beautiful reality, the company prefers the traditional pergola. For the conduct of their vineyard has always tried to avoid following fads: here tradition and common sense are the master, for this action are always measured and are implemented only when absolutely necessary. Soil is made up of pebbles and clay, which give the wine freshness, while exposure to south and the fact that vines grow between 350 and 400 meters above sea level make a difference as to character. All these devices are essential to create complex wines, with a strong personality and natural approach to taste. It sounds like a fairy tale, but it's the simple story of a family making wine in their work and believing in their own territory.
"Camillo non sbaglia un colpo: tutti i vini sono espressivi e di una nitidezza unica"
