Bertè Cordini represents the line of continuity with the winery Francesco Montagna, one of the first manufacturers in Oltrepò Pavese. The origins of this historic winery, in fact, date back to 1895. For over a century the winery Francesco Montagna operate in Broni, an old village, located in the center of one of the territories whose products take on a bouquet and aromas unmistakable and appreciated around the world. It was then the family Bertè Cordini, in 1974, to recover thewinery by landowners Francesco Montagna and to continue the production of great wines, combining the absolute highest quality research with an ambitious wine philosophy: their production systems start from a careful selection of the best vineyards in full respect of the natural properties of the grapes. As a tribute to the founder of the winery, the historical name of the company is still maintained, but from that moment on Natale, Mariella and Antonio, and a few years later, Luca, Matteo and Marzia continue to write the history of the winery. In addition to the cultivation of vineyards owned by the winery, they also makes use of the grapes of forty tenants, for a total area of 150 hectares of vineyards. The two sparkling wines that the winery produces are definitely the highlight of the production: fragrant, balanced and full of flavors that only the terroir of Oltrepò Pavese is able to donate.
