It is made from a selection of excellent barley malt, which undergoes the classic drying process using peat as fuel, which imparts the typical smoky notes. Distillation takes place in traditional stills, and to lower the degree of the distillate, the purest water is used, which comes from the lakes of Arinambeast and Uigedale. Whisky matures for 5 years in wooden barrels previously used for aging American Bourbon and Oloroso wine from Jerez de la Frontera. It is bottled without cold filtration.
