The Single Malt Whisky 12 Years Cragganmore is made within the property of Ballindalloch Castle in the heart of Speyside, where the Cragganmore distillery opened in 1869 by John Smith, regarded by his countrymen "The genius of whiskey" for 'skills and creative spirit that accompanied him all his life. After directing three of the most important malt distilleries in Scotland, wanted to create his own distillery advantage of the hill Craggan Mor water flowing over a bed of granite. Today there are two stills for the first distillation and two for the second, the latter able to prevent the alcoholic vapor to flow in and out quickly. The features of this 12 years are greatly appreciated by a large number of consumers who are particularly attentive and demanding that recognize the product notes of aroma and taste of the highest quality that you discover slowly during the tasting thus increasing the pleasure of drinking. The color is gold with amber highlights. Variegated aroma with many facets of spring flowers of forest, citrus, plum, apricot, butter, vanilla, trifle, walnuts and hazelnuts, white pepper. In the mouth starts to become dry and somewhat sweet, to the oak slightly peaty, nutmeg and fruit. The finish is persistent with notes of smoke and date.
