Traditional Single Malt Whisky from the Highlands, with a rich aromatic personality and with a smooth and sweet taste, complex and well-structured, aged for 12 years
The An Cnoc Whisky 12 Years is a modern and tradition-bound Single Malt, which is both light and complex, a real surprise for beginners and expert palates. Famous throughout the world for its peculiarities, that spirit is a must-have with a personality to be known, which is always related in a different way. Its sweetness makes it very challenging at the same time. It is a high quality whisky, as it is evidenced by the tremendous number of medals it has collected in the recent years around the world. It takes its name from its distillery, which is located in Speyside, in the Highlands: while from the 19th century to the 21st century it has been called Knockdhu, it was later renamed in Gaelic “An Cnoc”, according to the nearby Knock Hill's name. From the 90's the master distillers have started to produce Single Malt with a traditional cooling system, called “worm tubs”, which consists in an open containing water ponds and has the advantage of providing very intense aromas, instead of the modern system of condensers. The An Cnoc Whisky has been recently relaunched with a new attractive design: a perfect symbol of tradition and modernity harmony.
