Sancerre Domaine Le Piton 2022

Domaine Le Piton's Sancerre is a vibrant and complex Sauvignon Blanc produced in the Loire region, in Sancerre to be precise. It starts with 30-year-old vines, placed on flint and limestone clay soils, and is matured for 9 months on fine lees. The result is a forthright, direct, floral and very fruity wine of ripe lemons, jasmine flowers and smoky hints on the finish. An almost rare wine to pair with seafood, with goat's cheese preparations, but also with the spicy dishes of oriental cuisine!
