The wide and expressive aromatic range unfolds on notes of ripe fruit, bark and Mediterranean stain, animating a full bodied sip with a scratchy tannin and a long and intense persistence
The Montepulciano "Spelt" from La Valentina is an intriguing and intense wine, which comes with a pretty red ruby load. A great wine, with dense varietal profile, a rich and enveloping palate. The winery La Valentina was able to find his own identity and style above all in his red soul, and the Montepulciano "Spelt" fully confirms all the accolades of critics and the public that has so far achieved. The merit of this wine is to be found in Sabatino Di Properzio that, before 1990, the year of the founding of the cellar, did not think that the wine would become one of his greatest passions. After years of field trials, in the cellar and in the vineyard understood that the work should be followed especially in this one, and that all manufacturing processes must be cared for meticulously. Aided by his brothers Andrea and Roberto, the wine cellar La Valentina has been shown to strongly believe in the uniqueness of a region such as the Pescara Valley, in which the influences of sea and mountains create the optimal conditions optimal conditions for the ripening of the grapes. A terroir that they decided to preserve actively engaged in environmentally sound management of the vineyard and in the production process in the cellar.
