The "Dialectic Tinto" is a red wine with a very fresh, light and juicy profile made from a blend of grapes coming from the north of Portugal. A very smooth, expressive and very drinkable bottle, perfect for the everyday table, with a very fragrant bouquet of grape must, small juicy red fruit, fresh flowers and hints
Lusitanian winemaking reality Penho introduces 'Dialect' Tinto, a spontaneous and genuine red wine that well expresses the qualities of the reds produced in the Vinho Verde wine region in northern Portugal. It is a blend of three local varieties, including Vinhão, a grape variety that is part of the Port blend where it contributes color. It is characterized by a high organic acid content and an intense sweet and slightly rustic aroma. Penho's vineyards are located on a mountaintop, overlooking a kind of natural amphitheater, where biodiversity reigns supreme with rows surrounded by wild shrubs, fruit trees, cork trees, olive trees and pines. The estate's logo is inspired by the wooden door of the centuries-old cellar.
Penho's Tinto 'Dialect' comes from a blend of the indigenous grape varieties Vinhão, Rabo de Anho and Padeiro de Basto. Agronomic management follows organic farming principles, while in the winery alcoholic fermentation occurs spontaneously thanks to the presence of indigenous yeasts. The clusters are mash whole thus going through semi-carbonic maceration and the whole process takes place in stainless steel tanks, so as to preserve all the freshness and varietal aromas.
The Portuguese red wine 'Dialect' Tinto from Penho winery possesses a purplish-red coloration. The olfactory spectrum reveals hints of small red fruits, Mediterranean herbs and red flowers that blend with marine reflexes. Juicy, smooth and fragrant on the palate, where remarkable freshness is accompanied by savory tones and pleasant tannins. A label of astounding gracefulness and dynamism, which is why it can be paired with meat tartare or even with savory-tasting fish main courses.
