The Cuvée Prestige is a Cremant d'Alsace Rosé in which it is the straightforwardness of the drinkability and aromas that most strikes the attention of those fortunate enough to taste it. The Pinot Noir is cultivated using organic criteria that aim to return to the essence of the genuineness of the wines of yesteryear. In this Alsatian region, it is this grape variety that stands out with all its nuances, telling its story with varietal notes, opening up to a refreshing sip. Aimé Stentz, a small family-run Alsace winery, confirms itself as an interesting winery, attentive in presenting the terroir with different facets.
The Rosé Cremant d'Alsace Cuvée Prestige originates from pure Pinot Noir grapes, cultivated using the guyot method. We are located within a terroir characterised by a marly, calcareous subsoil and between the rows the cultivation is all organic, certified by the AB. After manual harvesting, the bunches of grapes are destemmed and the berries are sent to the soft-pressing stage. The must ferments for the first time in steel, and then re-ferments in the bottle following the production principles of the Metodo Classico. The wine remains on the lees for 12 months to mature.
The Cremant d'Alsace Rosé Cuvée Prestige reveals itself to the eye with a lively rosé colour, crossed by a fine-grained bubble with good persistence. The nose is refreshing, enveloped in a symphony of fruity notes from which a slight hint of smokiness also emerges. In the mouth, it is light-bodied, with an agile and jaunty sip, which is also enhanced by a nice freshness. An extremely versatile label in the kitchen, where it accompanies both the aperitif hour and the entire meal, combining tastefully with first and second courses of seafood.
