Champagne Brut Experience by André Jacquart is produced with Chardonnay grapes from Vertus. It is a clear, elegant, dynamic and very fresh champagne, great for many food pairings. It has perfumes of citrus, white flowers and bread crust, due to the aging on the lees for 48 months.
The Champagne Extra Brut Premier Cru "Vertus Experience" from the Maison André Jacquart is a label of great freshness and expressive finesse, offering a pleasant, fruity and fragrant sip, accompanied by notes of tertiary evolution, resulting from the long ageing on the lees. It is the bottle that represents in a crystal-clear manner the style of the Maison and the characteristics of its place of origin. Its refined and essential character makes it ideal to be enjoyed as an aperitif, paired with seafood first courses or with delicate white meat fish main courses.
The "Vertus Experience" is an Extra Brut Premier Cru Champagne that is the result of the savoir-faire of a Recoltant Manipulant reality that still works with an artisanal spirit. The Maison André Jacquart was created in 2004, but can count on the experience of several generations of vignerons. The estate extends over 24 hectares, with some particularly fine vines that are over 40 years old. The Chardonnay grapes come from a few plots located in the Premier Cru of Vertus. After a gentle pressing, the must ferments partly in stainless steel tanks and partly in used oak barrels. After a period of ageing, 30% reserve wines are added to the base wines of the vintage, giving maturity and harmony to the blend. The second fermentation takes place in the bottle according to the Champenoise Method, with a minimum of four years' bottle ageing.
Maison Jacquart's Extra Brut Premier Cru "Vertus Experience" is a Champagne that expresses very well the characteristics of the terroir of Vertus, which has always been famous for producing Chardonnay grapes of excellent quality and endowed with a particular aromatic richness. To the eye, it has a luminous and brilliant pale yellow colour, with a very fine, delicate and continuous perlage. The bouquet is elegant and refined, with floral aromas, notes of citrus peel, lime, grapefruit, aromas of ripe white-fleshed fruit, green apple, peach and hints of iodine. The palate is creamy, soft and intense, with rich fruit and good complexity, anticipating a very fresh and savoury finish.
