Jean Vesselle's Champagne Brut Rosé de Saignée is a Pinot Noir originating in the splendid territory of Bouzy, in the Montagne de Reims area, which is particularly suited to this red grape variety. It is a rosé made with a classic red vinification and a short maceration on the skins to extract the fragrant aromas typical of the best Pinot Noirs. Its intense color already shows its important structure, its aromas of small berries accompanied by light floral nuances. Rich and persistent, it is a Champagne with character, very suitable to enjoy throughout a meal, even with important dishes.
Rosé de Saigne is a Brut Champagne from Jean Vesselle, a small artisanal producer who makes Champagnes with a strong territorial character. Maison Jean Vesselle's Brut Rosé de Saignée is a Champagne that restores to the glass the expressive characteristics of Pinot Noir from the Grand Cru of Bouzy. The grapes come from the best plots, cultivated on limestone-clay soils typical of Champagne. Fermentation takes place in steel tanks and the vins clairs, after blending, undergo a second fermentation in the bottle according to the Champenoise Method, with a resting period sur lattes of 36 months. The Champagne has a rather intense pink color, with brilliant ruby hues, and interminable perlage of rare finesse. The bouquet recalls aromas of small berries, hints of pomegranate and floral nuances. On the palate it has a soft, enveloping and rich entry, with ripe and crisp fruit, flowing into a memorable finish with a very fresh, savory and balanced profile.
